THE AKER DÆHLIE
BEYOND CONCEPT

ONE TEAM achieving together

TEAM AKER DÆHLIE is the first private team competing at the highest level that includes athletes from Ski Classic, FIS/All-round, Paralympic XC-skiing and younger age groups.

This groundbreaking initiative is founded on the premise of Beyond, emphasizing the importance of performance Beyond the realm of sports.

WHY

Too many athletes end the skiing career long before reaching their full potential. This is particularly true for women and Paralympic athletes.

/

Not sufficient funding, knowledge, resources and career development opportunities.

/

Lack of clubs and teams including all types of athletes.

/

TEAM AKER DÆHLIE

The team will spearhead a holistic approach, including:

MISSION

We want to inspire people to follow their dreams and chase their goals, while at the same time setting a new standard for how to develop and strengthen the sport.

Our mission is to actively solve challenges related to the lack of equal opportunity to achieve within the sport of XC-skiing.

BEYOND

BEYOND is a way of thinking and achieving. Through its values and actions, the team will lead the way and inspire others. Fear of failure will not prevent the team from challenging the status quo.
